Franchise Fund Launched for Businesses

NatWest and RBS Launch £100 Million Franchise Fund

The Franchise Fund is designed to help new franchises in the UK, making it easier for businesses to secure funding and receive the help and experience of franchising relationship managers. The new fund is expected to create up to 1,800 new franchise businesses and 24,000 new jobs in the UK.

Funding of between £25,000 and £500,000 per company is available, towards a maximum of 70% of costs, with a repayment term of up to 10 years.

Key points of the Franchise Fund include:
• Two years' free banking for new franchises running for less than two years.
• Reduced fee of 1%.
• Up to 12 months of capital repayment holidays.
• Loans for existing franchise businesses.
• Access to unlimited expertise from the dedicated RBS/NatWest franchise team.

Applicants can also receive 20% off NatWest's Mentor in their first year - a service offering guidance on employment, health & safety, environmental and tax laws.

New franchise businesses in the United Kingdom may apply.
