Exciting business opportunities at Bolton's Parks

Bolton Council is looking for commercial, social enterprise or voluntary organisations to help provide quality services at popular parks in the borough.

Moss Bank Park - Attracts over 500,000 visitors per year. There are opportunities for one or more of the following: a café, a small animal attraction, food growing/sales, arts & crafts workshop, other small scale commercial activity.

Moses Gate Country Park - Attracts over 450,000 visitors per year. There is an opportunity within the, Grade 2 listed, Rock Hall Visitor Centre for the development of a café facility on the ground floor of the building.

Queens Park - Close to Bolton town centre and currently undergoing a £5.3M investment from the ‘Parks for People' Lottery Fund. A brand new community building will present opportunities for: a café, provision of public toilet facilities and management of community rooms with potential for some relevant commercial use e.g. children's parties, indoor play, meeting facilities.

The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday 4th March 2011.
