Whether you are starting a tourist accommodation venture from scratch or making significant improvements to an existing business, you may be eligible to receive a grant through the Tourism Connect project to improve your quality and profitability.
Funded by the Rural Development Programme for England and co-ordinated by Visit Manchester, grants are available to small and medium independent businesses in rural areas of Greater Manchester. Eligible wards in Bolton are Bradshaw, Horwich and Blackrod, Horwich North East, Hulton, Kearsley, Westhoughton South, and Westhoughton North and Chew Moor.
Grants of up to £50,000 or 40% of total capital costs are available to assist with projects creating four or five star serviced or non-serviced accommodation, generating at least one full time job.
Project part financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe investing in rural areas.
