Chamber of Commerce Quarterly Economic Survey

Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce would like to take a little bit of your time to complete a short survey. The survey will give invaluable data to show what businesses in the local area feel about important economic indicators such as sales, recruitment and investment intentions.

The Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) is a regular assessment of the economic situation in Greater Manchester. It is quick and simple to complete, comprising of 21 tick box questions, as businesses are not asked to provide lots of facts and figures.

The responses are collected by all the Chamber's so they understand the local economic conditions, critical for putting the case to local and national Government for the right environment for businesses. The results are fed into the national Quarterly Economic Survey compiled by British Chambers of Commerce. This is sent to key decision makers including the Bank of England for setting monetary policy and interest rates, HM Treasury, ministers and local MPs.
