Free training opportunity for Greater Manchester businesses!

Business leaders in Greater Manchester could benefit from new training, ‘Digital Skills Growth & Productivity’, which will support them to move their products and services online as Covid-19 exacerbates the need to embrace digital transformation.

Greater Manchester Combined Authority has awarded a £2m contract to UK Skills Academy to deliver bespoke, free training following engagement with the digital industry.

The courses on offer will focus specifically on the skills gaps identified by the digital sector such as integrating digital technology, managing staff remotely and using online platforms.

The programme will also support staff employed in digital roles within SME’s that need to develop specific tech skills such as cyber security, data analysis, information governance, digital marketing and others.

Digital Skills Growth and Productivity programme has been delivered as part of the regional Skills for Growth programme, funded through the European Social Fund.
