  • People Plus Enterprise offer business support in Bolton for those looking to start a business. They run the New Enterprise Allowance programme which provides mentoring and workshops for those in receipt of benefits who are looking to become self-employed. All of their support is government funded and free of charge and provides 12 week mentoring programme. 

  • Business Growth Hub provide a wide range of services to help start up businesses across Greater Mancheste. The team support businesses at all stages of their growth journey with a broad range of services. Offering expert one-to-one and peer-to-peer business support, events, specialist programmes, funding and much more.

  • Bolton Library Service is a boroughwide enquiry service providing businesses with multiple resources to suit their needs including, company information, financial data and statistics, legal standards information, market research and information for start-ups, mailing lists and more.

  • EnterprisingYou is a government-funded programme specially designed to support self-employed individuals, including those who work in the gig economy and small business owners in Greater Manchester. EnterprisingYou also supports people who receive work from a company or an agency but are registered as self-employed or pay their own taxes. Free advice is available in different areas, from personal skills and career development to business finance and mentoring

  • Working Well Early Help ProgrammeCommissioned by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and the NHS this unique programme is designed to support business with up to 250 staff members, employed people and those who are self-employed. Working Well Early Help (WWEH) provides FREE specialist support for people living or working in the Greater Manchester area, with a physical or mental health condition who are struggling, off sick, furloughed, to return to work.
