This free half day course allows those with mild to moderate hearing loss, people with deteriorating hearing, carers and family members of people with hearing, and anyone who works with people with hearing loss. The course covers tips for making the most of your residual hearing, information on assistive technology – hearing aids, loop systems, amplified phones, text relay services and other devices to aid communication, and introduction to both lip-reading and sign language.
