Spotlight on Success: Business Bolton Workshops at Wellsprings
Business Bolton is proud to share the success of recent workshops held at the new Wellsprings Building, which brought together local enterprises
The sessions proved highly valuable. As participants reflected, “ we got a lot out of it and the space seems to have worked well within the Wellsprings.”
The intimate setting encouraged open discussion and ensured that businesses left with practical insights tailored to their needs.
The Cyber Security workshop provided clear, actionable guidance on protecting digital assets and strengthening resilience. Businesses gained confidence in their ability to safeguard operations in an increasingly digital environment.
The procurement workshop, delivered in collaboration between Bolton Council, Business Growth Hub and Bolton CVS, was equally impactful. Partners agreed it had been a worthwhile exercise, not only in the delivery but also in the preparation, which fostered strong collaboration across organisations. The event was very well received, with the content, venue, and attendance all praised — in short, the session was spot on.
A particularly positive outcome has emerged from the procurement workshop: Bolton CVS, supported by Fayyaz from Global Solutions and Stephen from Henshaws, will establish “Get to Know Your VCSE Sector for Business”. This initiative will help better understand and connect with Bolton’s vibrant VCSE sector. Details of the upcoming session can be found here.
The Roadshow doesn’t stop here. More workshops are planned to continue supporting Bolton’s business community, including a drop-in session at the Bolton Arena. These events will provide further opportunities for networking, advice, and hands-on guidance, ensuring that local enterprises remain well-equipped to thrive.
