Celebrating Local Business Success at The King’s Awards for Enterprise Event
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the businesses that attended The King’s Awards for Enterprise event on Monday.
Held on behalf of the Lord Mayor of Bolton, the event brought together local businesses and inspiring speakers to explore the importance of recognising and celebrating success within our business community. It was an excellent opportunity to share experiences, insights, and practical advice on how national recognition can support long-term growth.
Attendees heard from a range of expert speakers, including Professor Vikas Shah MBE DL, who shared valuable insights on the impact of winning a prestigious award. Catherine Price spoke about We Are Bolton and the power of place-based pride, while Nick Shepherd from the Greater Manchester Business Growth Hub outlined the support available to businesses throughout the awards application process.
The discussions highlighted how awards such as The King’s Awards for Enterprise can help raise business profiles, strengthen credibility, and open the door to new opportunities both locally and nationally.
With nominations opening next week, now is the ideal time for businesses to begin preparing their applications.
