Self-isolation is when you have symptoms or have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19) and therefore must stay at home for at least 10 full days in order to prevent passing the virus on to others. You can pass the virus to others, even if you are showing no symptoms.

We know self-isolation is difficult for many, but please rememeber you are not alone. Support, advice, help or even just someone to chat to is available to you during this time.

To help, we have put together a handy downloadable COVID-19 Self-Isolation Support Pack, which has everything you need to know to help you get through your self-isolation period. It has financial advice, support contact details, well-being tips and lists of essentials and other things to consider to make sure you are prepared should you be required to self-isolate.

If you are required to self-isolate, you must do so immediately from when your symptoms started (or from the day your test was taken, if you have no symptoms) and the next 10 full days. This means you cannot leave home so planning ahead, even before you are told to self-isolate, can help you feel more in control and prepared.

To help you though this time, we have also created a simple 10 Ways To Do Your 10 Days Checklist. Download this and save to your phone, computer, or even print it off and stick it to your fridge!
